HAVEC Engineering provides hardware solutions used to diagnose and optimise the operation of rotating industrial machinery.
For many years now, mechanic causes of damages to rotary kilns were not fully clear. Even for large sizes of rotating machinery, precise measurements are crucial. Due to difficult conditions (high temperature, dust) this is a challenge especially if measurements are to be executed during the machinery's operation. HAVEC has developed both hardware and software solutions adjusted to such types of measurements.
We managed to implement a couple of highly precise measurement systems to facilitate diagnostics, basic monitoring, and planning of kiln operation’ maintenance activities. Thanks to such devices, all malfunctions can be clearly specified, detected earlier, with outcomes reduced to a minimum. This leads to limiting the number of unplanned standstills.
We produce machinery both for precise measurements of single geometric parameters of industrial machinery, as well as complete and continuous monitoring systems at the CCR level. The majority of our devices has been designed as mobile machinery, remotely controlled, and fully adjusted to difficult measurement conditions. All devices are created keeping in mind the utmost reflection of kiln's operation in its normal conditions, at a standard production.
Machinery can be characterised with the measurement accuracy of 0.01 mm.
Our solutions are as follows:
- KGM-System – remote measurement system monitoring the majority of kiln's geometric parameters.
- Induction sensors – measuring shaft deflections of support rollers, axial and radial run-out of components.
- Machinery to measure shell's profile – radial run-out (eccentrics) and local deformations.
- Ovalisation sensors - measurement of shell's flexibility
Hot kiln alignment - the main area of our actions shall be to conduct mechanical inspection and to specify activities (measurements, exchanges, repairs, modifications, etc.) which should be performed to attain and maintain high effectiveness of the rotary kiln's operation.
